Brazil: sugar exports tops 845K t in the 1st week of October

Brazil exported 846.41 thousand tonnes of sugar and molasses in the first week of October (5 working days), with revenue of US$ 329.85 million, according to the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), on Monday, October 10.
Last month, Brazil exported 3.08 million tonnes of sugar industry products. In the entire month of September 2021 (20 working days), exports totaled 2.31 million t and revenue of US$ 829.20 million.

The average volume shipped per day, 169.28 thousand t/day, was 46% higher than in September 2021 (115.55 thousand t/day). Shipment prices are more than 8% higher, at $389.70/t.
