Chile to remain largest importer of Paraguayan meat until September 2023

Chile maintained its position as the primary importer of Paraguayan beef from January to September 2023, acquiring a total of 92,876,034 kilograms of beef products, as reported by Paraguay’s National Service of Quality and Animal Health (Senacsa).
During this period, Paraguay exported over 235,000 metric tons of beef, resulting in a total value of USD 1,121,568,445, according to data released by the Paraguayan Veterinary Service.
In terms of beef offal, Paraguay successfully shipped a total of 45,875,519 kilograms to foreign markets, totaling approximately $71,993,293 in value for the year.
Finally, the Senacsa report stated that from January to August of this year, the primary export markets for Paraguayan beef, in addition to Chile, included Taiwan with 30,566,659 kilograms, Brazil with 22,017,123 kilograms, Russia with 22,500,100 kilograms, Israel with 9,593,212 kilograms, and Vietnam with 6,733,536 kilograms.
