Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq) launched on Tuesday, November 1st, its real-time port monitoring platform “Painel Situação dos Portos em Tempo Real.”
The mechanism allows anyone to stay informed on the status of port operations across the country, as well as the level of criticality and the status of access routes to the facilities. The system allows users to access data from 34 public ports and seven private terminals.
ANTAQ’s panel is fed by its management and regional units almost instantly, with correct, relevant, and updated information about the situation of Brazilian ports. In addition, the Agency’s inspectors are monitoring the impacts caused in port facilities due to roadblocks on-site.
