Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) has launched a public consultation and hearing to gather feedback, proposals and suggestions aimed at improving the technical and legal documents related to the bidding process for the concession of the access channel to the Port of Santos (SP).

Users and stakeholders in Brazil’s waterway transport sector, as well as other interested parties, will be able to submit contributions from March 17 to May 2, 2026. Draft legal documents and technical materials will be available through the webpage dedicated to Public Hearing No. 02/2026.

Public hearing

To promote discussion and clarify questions regarding the concession project, ANTAQ will also hold a public hearing, with the date, time and venue to be announced at a later stage.

Submissions

ANTAQ said it will consider only contributions, supporting information and suggestions that directly address the draft documents under consultation. Submissions must be sent by 11:59 p.m. on May 2, 2026, exclusively through the electronic form available on the agency’s website. Contributions submitted through other channels will not be accepted.

Digital files — including maps, technical drawings and photographs — may be attached and sent by email to anexo_audiencia022026@antaq.gov.br. Written contributions must be entered in the appropriate fields of the online form, with identification of the contributor and within the established deadline.

Interested parties who do not have the necessary resources to submit their contribution through the online form may use a computer available at the General Secretariat (SGE) of ANTAQ in Brasília, or at the agency’s regional offices, whose addresses are listed on the ANTAQ website. All submitted contributions will also be made available through the agency’s website.
