ANTAQ opens public consultations to improve transparency in the charging of extra-freight values for maritime transport

This Monday, July 26, ANTAQ (the national waterway transport agency) opened public consultations nº 16/2021 and nº 17/2021, aiming at improving Theme 2.3 of the Regulatory Agenda 2020/2021 Biennium – ‘Improving transparency in the collection of extra-freight amounts and maritime transport surcharges,’ and Theme 3.6 of the Regulatory Agenda 2020/2021 Biennium – ‘Analysis and diagnosis of the need for regulation regarding the charging, by the Port Authority, for the use of the “Water Mirror” located in the areas of organized ports.’

Contributions to the two consultations/public hearings may be sent to ANTAQ until 11:59 pm on 09/08/2021, exclusively through the electronic form available at https://www.gov.br/antaq/pt-br
