The arrival of the Star Lysefjord vessel at the Port of Itajaí is scheduled for July 6th, officially marking the resumption of container operations in the Itajaí port complex. Flying a Norwegian flag, the vessel will carry two thousand vehicles from the Chinese company BYD, packed in 700 containers.
Measuring 204 meters in length, the vessel has already left Asia and is en route to Brazil. The containers will be unloaded at Berths 3 and 4 of the complex, which is managed by SC Portos. Meanwhile, Berths 1 and 2 are still being customized by the new administrator, JBS/Seara. SC Portos and JBS/Seara have reached an agreement to complete the unloading.
