Brazil has opened two new export markets for agricultural products in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Agriculture said on Wednesday, the 21st.
Vietnamese sanitary authorities approved imports of Brazilian beef tallow, a move the ministry said will broaden and diversify opportunities for Brazil’s livestock chain in the Southeast Asian country of about 100 million people.
In 2025, Vietnam imported more than $3.5 billion in Brazilian agribusiness products, led by corn, the soy complex, fibers and textile products. Brazil gained access to export beef to Vietnam in March last year.
In Saudi Arabia, sanitary authorities approved imports of bovine heparin, an anticoagulant used in clinical procedures and therapies. The kingdom, home to about 34 million people, imported more than $2.8 billion in Brazilian agricultural products in 2025, with corn and products from the meat and sugar-and-ethanol complexes among the main items.
With the latest announcements, Brazilian agribusiness has secured 527 new international market openings since the start of 2023.
