Brazil to ship 68,500 T of wheat in July, up from zero last year

Brazil is expected to ship 68,500 tonnes of wheat in July, according to data released by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (ANEC). This would be a significant increase from the 0 tonnes exported in July 2022.
In June, Brazil exported 58,000 tonnes of wheat, bringing total exports for the first six months of 2023 to 2.403 million tonnes. This is down from 3.201 million tonnes exported in the same period last year.
In the week between July 2 and 8, Brazil shipped 28,000 tonnes of wheat. Exports for the week are forecast to reach 40.5 thousand tonnes.
