In terms of revenue, the association also highlighted a record January result. Export revenues reached US$ 874.2 million, 5.8% higher than the US$ 826.4 million recorded in the first month of 2025.

The leading exporting state was Paraná, which shipped 187.7 thousand tonnes in January, an increase of 3.9% compared with the same period last year. The second-best performance came from Santa Catarina, which exported 103.1 thousand tonnes, up 9.3% year on year.

Rio Grande do Sul shipped 58.7 thousand tonnes, up 0.75% from the same period last year. São Paulo exported 26.7 thousand tonnes, up 2%, while Goiás shipped 25.6 thousand tonnes, recording a 9.5% increase.

“The record performance, with growth in virtually all major destinations during a period that typically sees lower demand, such as January, points to optimistic prospects for 2026. This indicates sustained growth across several importing markets, especially in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, European Union countries, and certain Asian markets with strong demand,” said Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA.
