Brazilian Fresh Pork Exports Could Grow by Over 19% in April

Brazil’s fresh pork exports continue to accelerate in April 2025. According to data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex), 75.03 thousand tonnes of the product had been shipped by the third week of the month, representing a daily average of 5.77 thousand tonnes.
With 20 business days in the month, exports are expected to total 115.43 thousand tonnes, which would mark a 19.31% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This strong performance highlights the growing international demand for Brazilian pork.

In addition to the export volume, the average price per ton also increased. In April, the value reached USD 2,490.23, reflecting an 8.24% rise year-on-year. The outlook is positive for the sector, which will benefit from both the growth in shipments and the appreciation of the product in the international market.
