Brazil’s ANEC forecasts corn shipments of 5.431 mln tonnes in December

Data released this week by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (ANEC) indicate that Brazil should export 5.431 million tonnes of corn in December.
In December last year, Brazil shipped 3.321 million tonnes of corn. In November 2022, shipments of the cereal totaled 5.269 million tonnes. Year-to-date, in 2022, corn shipments reached 42.596 million tonnes.
According to ANEC, in the week between November 27th and December 3rd, shipments totaled 1.095 million tonnes. Between December 4th and December 10th, shipments are projected at 1.868 million tonnes of corn.
