Brazil’s ANTAQ sets hearing on SSB01 terminal lease at São Sebastião Port

Brazil’s National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ) will hold Public Hearing No. 7/2025 on January 26, 2026, to gather contributions aimed at refining the technical and legal documents related to the lease of the SSB01 area at the Port of São Sebastião, in São Paulo state. The terminal is designated for handling and storage of dry bulk, general cargo and containerized cargo.

The public hearing will be streamed on ANTAQ’s YouTube channel, with no prior registration required for viewers. Participants wishing to speak, however, must register via WhatsApp at +55 (61) 2029-6940. Registration will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on January 23, 2026.

Draft legal texts and technical documents related to the public consultation for the SSB01 terminal lease are available through ANTAQ. Contributions may include digital image attachments such as maps, layouts and photographs, which can be submitted until January 27 via email at anexo_audiencia072025@antaq.gov.br
. ANTAQ noted that submitting attachments by email does not replace the requirement to file written contributions through the electronic form.

After completing the registration process via WhatsApp, each registered participant will receive a link granting access to the virtual hearing room. The session will be held live and exclusively via Microsoft Teams.
