Brazil’s defence industry has just reached a new historic record for exports. There are USD 3.1 billion in authorizations for the export of products and services, an increase of 74% compared to 2024, when the sector reached USD 1.78 billion.
“The Brazilian Ministry of Defence is carrying out intensive work to promote our companies. The result goes beyond the sales record: it means jobs, taxes, technological development, and workforce training in our country,” says Minister José Mucio Monteiro.
The five largest importers of Brazilian defence products are: Germany, Bulgaria, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, and Portugal.
The Brazilian defence industry also stands out in the international market, trading with approximately 140 countries on every continent. Currently, there are around 80 exporting companies.
