Opportunities for coastal shipping at the Port of Natal were assessed during a meeting between port authority Codern and the Rio Grande do Norte Federation of Industries (Fiern).
Codern’s president, Paulo Henrique Macedo, welcomed Fiern’s president, Roberto Serquiz, at the company’s headquarters to discuss the potential of the state’s maritime logistics.
“For quite some time, we have been following Fiern’s work and efforts to highlight the viability of maritime transport as an alternative for the state’s development. We have been collaborating in this effort,” Fiern commented.
Serquiz was accompanied by the federation’s second secretary-director, Etelvino Patrício, who has been consistently working on the coastal shipping agenda, as well as by the organization’s first treasurer-director, Djalma Júnior, and the Executive Coordinator for Institutional and Market Relations, Ana Adalgisa Dias.
Also attending the meeting were Codern’s Technical and Commercial Director, Paulo Sidney, and the company’s Operations Manager, Rodolfo Gois.
