Coffee: Brazil exports rise in November
Dec, 21, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202251
Coffee exports increased from October to November, maintaining the volume sold in the 2022/23 season so far (from July/22 to November/22) slightly higher than a year ago. According to Cepea researchers, the improved performance of foreign sales was made possible because of the increased productivity of this year’s coffee crop and the reduction of global logistical hindrances.
It is worth noting that, in addition to a lower supply than this season, Brazilian exporters faced numerous logistical issues, such as a lack of containers, high freight costs, and port delays, which limited grain shipments.
See below the top 10 export destinations for Brazilian coffee in the first ten months of 2022, according to DataLiner.

In general, even though the volumes shipped during the current harvest season exceed those of the previous one, national coffee industry players indicate that shipments in 2022/23 may fall short of expectations and/or below other years of high productivity.
