Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting contributions regarding the concession of the access channel to the Port of Santos, in the state of São Paulo. The extension was granted to restore the full public consultation period following a temporary outage in the social participation system. Under DG Resolution No. 43/2026, interested parties now have until July 31, 2026, to submit comments, recommendations, and suggestions to ANTAQ.
The agency will consider only contributions related to the draft documents made available through the public consultation and hearing process, provided they are submitted exclusively via the electronic form available on ANTAQ’s website. Contributions sent through other channels will not be accepted.
Digital files—including maps, engineering drawings, and photographs—may be attached and sent by email to anexo_audiencia022026@antaq.gov.br. Written contributions must be entered in the appropriate fields of the electronic form, with the contributor properly identified and submitted within the established deadline.
Individuals who do not have the necessary resources to complete the electronic form may use computers available at ANTAQ’s General Secretariat (SGE) in Brasília or at one of the agency’s Regional Offices. Addresses for these locations, as well as all contributions received, are available on ANTAQ’s website.
