Brazilian egg exports have been declining, mainly because of weaker demand from the country’s main trading partners for the protein. In March, shipments posted their lowest volume since December 2024.
According to data from Brazil’s Foreign Trade Secretariat, compiled and analyzed by Cepea researchers, Brazil exported 1,870 tonnes of fresh and processed eggs in March, down 36% from February and equivalent to half the volume shipped in the same month last year, when exports reached 3,770 tonnes.
Take a look at the historical snapshot for Brazilian egg exports from 2023 through February 2026. Measured in TEUs, here is a breakdown of how the volumes have been stacking up over the last few years.
