Data center logistics infrastructure is already reshaping cargo flows tied to the sector in Brazil. At Libraport Campinas, the value of shipments related to data center projects reached $520 million in the first half of 2026, 35.8% above the $383 million handled during all of 2025.
The figures highlight how quickly demand is growing for equipment used to build and expand data processing and storage infrastructure across the country.
Servers, racks and other technology infrastructure components are among the products handled in these operations, which involve high-value cargo and require specific care throughout the logistics chain.
“The first-half performance shows that data center expansion is already having a concrete impact on the foreign trade and logistics chain. In just six months, we handled cargo worth more than the total recorded throughout last year, demonstrating not only the growth of this market but also the importance of having infrastructure prepared to handle high-value products and operations that require security, speed, appropriate equipment and precision,” Libraport Chief Executive Bruno Barbosa said.
Logistics follows expansion of digital infrastructure
The increase in cargo handled by Libraport comes as Brazil undergoes a broader expansion of its digital infrastructure.
Growth in cloud computing, data processing and artificial intelligence applications is increasing demand for new data centers and, consequently, for the equipment needed to install and expand those facilities.
That makes data center logistics in Brazil increasingly important, particularly because much of the equipment involved carries high added value and, in many cases, requires specific procedures for receiving, inspection, storage, handling and transportation.
Against this backdrop, Libraport has been expanding its presence in the high-tech cargo segment.
The company’s infrastructure allows it to support different stages of foreign trade operations, from cargo reception through customs clearance and dispatch to final destinations.
