Log-In advances fleet modernization with Endurance dry-docking

Log-In Logística Integrada has completed the dry-docking of the Log-In Endurance, a vessel in its cabotage and Mercosur fleet that connects Brazilian ports from Manaus, in Amazonas state, to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The work, carried out during the second quarter, is part of the company’s ongoing Log-In fleet modernization strategy. The program combines preventive maintenance, technology upgrades, regulatory adjustments and initiatives aimed at improving vessel energy efficiency.

The dry-docking scope included several structural and operational interventions designed to make the vessel more efficient, safe and sustainable. Work included treatment and painting of the hull and hatch covers, as well as maintenance of electric motors, pumps, valves, propulsion systems and steering systems.

As part of the process, the Log-In Endurance also began operating with Log-In’s new visual identity, with green highlighted on the vessel’s hull and the company’s brand applied to the ship. The change is aligned with Log-In’s current institutional positioning, which seeks to bring logistics closer to people’s daily lives.

According to Mauricio Trompowsky, operations director at Log-In Logística Integrada, the modernization of the Log-In Endurance is part of a permanent plan to strengthen the company’s operations.

“The dry-docking represents a continuous investment in the reliability and evolution of our fleet. In addition to ensuring the vessel’s operational compliance, we incorporated improvements that contribute to a more efficient, sustainable operation that is prepared to meet the current demands of Brazilian logistics, always focused on the quality of services offered to our customers,” Trompowsky said.

Technology and energy efficiency

The vessel also received upgrades to bridge navigation systems, reinforcing the fleet’s technology standardization process.

One highlight was the application of silicone coating to the propeller, a technology already used on other company vessels. The coating improves propeller hydrodynamics and contributes to more efficient navigation.

The vessel also underwent retrofits aimed at improving energy efficiency, as well as the five-year renewal of class certifications, which are essential to ensure regulatory compliance and operational safety.

Felipe Gurgel, Log-In’s executive navigation director, said the modernization of the Log-In Endurance has direct effects on the customer experience.

“By investing in updating our fleet, we increase the reliability of operations and reinforce the safety of transported cargo, aiming to ensure greater service continuity. The vessel was the second in the fleet to recently go through this process, while others are also undergoing dry-docking,” Gurgel said.

The dry-docking of the Log-In Endurance is part of a continuous process of innovation and operational improvement across the company’s fleet, combining regulatory compliance with sustainability-oriented initiatives in the shipping sector.

Beyond technical and operational gains, the project also strengthens the company’s brand presence and the new visual identity of its vessels at the main ports it serves. It connects Log-In fleet modernization with broader strategic efforts to develop integrated logistics in Brazil.
