Logum makes its first ethanol export

Logum Logística has just exported its first load of ethanol, shipping 40 million liters at the port of Ilha D’Água (RJ) to California.
The product was transported through the pipeline that the company operates, departing from the Ribeirão Preto (SP) terminal. In all, the fuel traveled over 745 kilometers by pipeline.
With the use of the pipeline, 733 trips by trucks, which would use the highways of the metropolitan region of São Paulo, were no longer necessary. This avoided the emission of 2,000 tons of carbon dioxide.
