Maize: USDA announces sale of 1,020m tonnes to China

US private exporters reported to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) the sale of 1.020 million tonnes of corn to China. Of the total, they will deliver 680 thousand tonnes in the 2021/22 season and 340 thousand tonnes in the 2022/23 season.
Any operation involving the sale of a volume equal to or greater than 100 thousand tons of grain, made to the same destination and on the same day, must be reported to the USDA.
