MSC to launch direct South America–Middle East service via Abu Dhabi

Starting in October, MSC will introduce a direct service to the Middle East market, with Abu Dhabi serving as a major transshipment hub. This new link is specially designed for refrigerated cargo bound for the main ports of the Persian Gulf. South American exporters and Middle Eastern importers will benefit from faster transit times to Abu Dhabi and other strategic ports in the region, with cargo delivered in Abu Dhabi in less than 33 days, Shuwaikh in 38 days, and Hamad in 39 days.
The first voyage will depart from Itajaí with the vessel MSC SHREYA B., voyage QJ539R.
The updated rotation will be as follows:
Buenos Aires – Rio Grande – Itajaí – Navegantes – Paranaguá – Santos – Rio de Janeiro – Walvis Bay – Abu Dhabi – Singapore – Qingdao – Busan – Ningbo – Shanghai – Shekou – Singapore – Colombo – Rio de Janeiro – Santos – Paranaguá – Itapoá – Itajaí – Buenos Aires
