Norcoast, a Brazilian coastal shipping company, has announced the appointment of Stephano Galvão as its new Operations Director. With a holistic business vision, the executive will contribute to process optimization, team management, and innovation, further driving the company’s growth and excellence.
With over 15 years of experience in the shipping sector, Galvão served as Latin America Maritime Operations Director at Hapag-Lloyd. He has held various roles in operations, product, and logistics since 2007. He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB) and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Additionally, he specialized in Ship Cargo Planning and Operations at the University of Vale do Itajaí (Univali).
