Pork: revenue from shipments grow by almost 40% in March

On Monday (20), the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) released data on pork shipments in the third week of March.

Pork shipments from Brazil generated US$ 143.006 million in the 13 working days of March, with a daily average of US$ 11 million. The total amount exported by the country in the period reached 59,285 thousand tonnes, with a daily average of 4,560 thousand tonnes. The average price of the protein was US$ 2,412.20.
Compared to March 2022, there was a 38.9% increase in the average daily revenue gained, a 23.4% growth in the average daily quantity sold, and a 12.5% increase in the average price.
