Port of Montevideo handles over 2,200 containers

A total of 2,208 containers were handled at the Port of Montevideo recently in the loading and unloading operations of four ships, according to data from the National Ports Administration (ANP) of Uruguay.
See below the flow of containerized cargo (exports and imports) at the Port of Montevideo between Jan 2019 and Feb 2023, according to the DataLiner data service developed by Datamar.

The container carrier Ever Lenient was the ship in charge of the highest number of movements, with a total of 1,223, as 819 containers were unloaded from the ship and another 404 were loaded.
The MSC Giselle did the same with 650 cargo containers, of which 300 were unloaded from the ship and another 350 loaded onto it.
Meanwhile, the cargo ship Scout moved a sum of 100 metal containers, with 45 of these being loaded and another 55 unloaded. The barge PAR 10002 moved 235 containers.
