Rumo throughput volumes grow 11.8% in September

Rumo transported 7.26 billion ton-kilometers (TKU) in September, an 11.8% increase compared to the previous year and a 3.3% rise from August.
According to the company, agricultural products accounted for 6.07 billion TKU in the month, focusing on 3.92 billion TKU of corn, 948 million TKU of soybean meal, and 565 million TKU of fertilizers.
Industrial products totaled 825 million TKU in September, with fuels contributing 570 million TKU for the month, while containers reached 370 million TKU.
As a result, Rumo concluded the third quarter with an accumulated volume of 21.1 billion TKU, a 4% increase compared to the previous year. The monthly average for the period was 7.05 billion TKU.
The company publishes tables with the results of transported volumes on its website every sixth business day of each month.
