Soybean line-up indicates 11.623M tonnes in April shipments

The line-up of vessels in Brazilian ports indicates that the export of 11.623 million tonnes of soybeans is to happen in April, according to a survey carried out by Safras & Mercado. The volume shipped in the month so far totals 4.935 million tonnes. In April last year, exports totalled 15.74 million tonnes.
In March, shipments reached a total of 12.106 million tonnes. As for May, the line-up leads us to believe that exports will reach 2.312 million tonnes.
From January to April 2022, the line-up pointed to the shipment of 35.199 million tonnes. In the same period last year, 36.206 million tonnes were shipped. The Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) indicates the shipment at 24.16 million tonnes.
