Sugar and molassess exports fall to 2.36M t in June

Brazil exported 2.358 million tonnes of sugar and molasses in the entire month of June (21 working days), invoicing a revenue of US$ 926.78 million, according to data released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Economy on Friday, June 1st.

For the entire month of June 2021 (21 working days), product exports totaled 2.75 million, accumulating a revenue of US$922.65 million.
Brazil’s exports of sugar and molasses totaled 112.33 thousand tonnes/day in June, more than 14% lower than in June 2021 (131.10 thousand t/day).
Shipment prices, however, are more than 17% higher, at US$ 392.90/t.
