November was a month of records at Porto Itapoá. On November 11, the terminal achieved its highest number of containers handled on the same vessel: 3,371 units. The operation took place on the Maersk vessel in just over 30 hours, with the assistance of five portainers. The previous record was set on April 4 this year, when the terminal handled 3,361 containers on the CMA CGM Búzios vessel.
On November 20, the terminal set a record for movements per hour on a vessel, a vital productivity marker in the port sector that tracks the movement of portainers – cranes that move containers between ships and the quay. The operation took place on the Maersk Leon vessel, reaching 131.57 movements per hour. The previous record was set on August 6 this year, with 131.21 movements on the MSC India vessel.
Finally, on November 27, the terminal set a record at the gate, the entry point for road carriers. There were 704 movements in a single shift, which lasted six hours. The previous record was set on September 11, with 675 movements in a single shift.
